In Germany, you’ll often find Holunderblütensirup (elderflower syrup) and elderflower herbal teas on store shelves. • Holunderblütensirup: 30ml (about 2 tablespoons)
• Sparkling water: 210ml

Instructions: Pour the syrup and ice into a glass. Slowly add sparkling water, stir gently, and finish with mint and lemon for a wonderfully fresh aroma.

 2. Elegant Elderflower Hot Tea ☕️

This elegant floral tea offers a moment of calm, gently wrapping you in its soft fragrance. Drinking it hot allows the aroma to fully bloom, making it especially soothing on days when allergy symptoms feel bothersome. It’s easy to find in local supermarkets, and I always make sure to stock up every spring.

While not related to allergies, elderflower syrup also stars in one of Germany and Austria’s favorite spring cocktails: Hugo.
